Status Update

October 16, 2014

SD&T continually adds new e-courses to SkillPro. For a complete list, click on the Learning Library and select e-Learning. To find courses on specific topics, use the keyword search feature. Among the e-courses recently added are:

  • First Aid and Recognizing Medical Emergencies
  • Trauma-informed Care
  • Fire Safety and Awareness
  • Universal Precautions: Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Universal Precautions: HIV/AIDS

New e-courses under development

  • Stress Management
  • Human Trafficking
  • Interpersonal Communications

Enhancements/Fixes in Progress

  • Rosters – some users are having trouble finalizing rosters. If you get an “unexpected error” please send a description of the problem, your contact information and a screenshot of the error message to SkillPro@djj.state.fl.us
  • Password – We are working on a problem being experienced by users who fail to initially set up their security questions. After contacting an administrator and setting up their password as directed by the system, some people are being redirected by the system to the password reset screen and must change their password again. Also, the security questions screen appears on the second log-in.
  • “Unexpected Error” for some users when attempting to access the My Learning page or after log-in.

PASSWORD RESETS: Please submit these requests to your training coordinator. If your training coordinator is unavailable and you urgently need to access SkillPro, submit the request with your contact information to SkillPro@djj.state.fl.us.

TRAINING COORDINATORS: If one of your staff members needs a password reset, please make sure you submit the request in SkillPro using the Get Help! or Support Request feature.

If a user is encountering an “Unexpected Error” when accessing the My Learning page or after log-in, please submit a user request via Get Help! and send screenshots to SkillPro@djj.state.fl.us.

Please verify the correct contact information is in SkillPro for each of your staff members. Several users have submitted requests without contact information, and none has been entered on their SkillPro user account. As a result, their issues cannot be resolved. Contact information can be edited by training coordinators, but not by users. Please verify that each user’s email address and telephone number is correct, including the email addresses that are automatically generated for state workers. To do so, click User Admin / Manage User / Manage Position / Position Details. The editable email and telephone number fields are on the lower right side of the page.
