Enhancements/Fixes in Progress

  • Password – We are working on a problem being experienced by users who fail to initially set up their security questions. After contacting an administrator and setting up their password as directed by the system, they are being redirected by the system to the password reset screen and must change their password again.
  • Trauma-informed Care e-course is being re-engineered as a two part course to accommodate providers’ technology limits.
  • Exam retakes: exam link is not populating for some users.

TRAINING COORDINATORS: Training is an event in which a learner is presented information about knowledge, a skill or ability, and then ASSESSED to determine if learning occurred. Therefore, a meeting in which a policy was discussed is NOT training because no measurement is taken to determine whether there is a change in the knowledge or performance of each individual. Training occurs when information is presented, students are allowed to ask questions, the trainer provides feedback and assesses whether  learning has occurred (using a tool such as a posttest). That is why the custom content section requires a description of the assessment.

TODAY is the deadline for screen captures to be sent to Sandi Coker. Some users had difficulty with completed courses showing as incomplete on their My Learning page a few weeks ago. If you have a screen-captured image of a finished e-learning course that recorded as incomplete for a user, please email it to Sandi Coker at Sandi.Coker@djj.state.fl.us. She will make sure the person’s SkillPro learning record updated. A screen-captured image must be accompany each request for revision to the My Learning page.

Training coordinators need to verify their users’ correct contact information is in SkillPro. Several users have submitted requests without contact information, and none has been entered on their SkillPro user account. As a result, their issues cannot be resolved. Contact information can be edited by training coordinators, but not by users. Please verify that each user’s email address and telephone number is correct, including the email addresses that are automatically generated for state workers. To do so, click User Admin / Manage User / Manage Position / Position Details. The editable email and telephone number fields are on the lower right side of the page.

If an instructor-led session is created with the Registration Type set as Administrative Registration, users will not be able to register themselves. They will need to contact the instructor to register for the session. Please direct users to contact the instructor if they are unable to register for an instructor-led session.

CERTIFICATION EXAMS: For immediate assistance regarding certification exams in progress, exam proctors should continue to call SD&T at (850) 488-8825.
