Research
The Department of Juvenile Justice monitors the number of youth and arrests for delinquent offenses that were identified as occurring on school grounds, a school bus (or bus stop) or at an official school event. This information is generally provided to the Department by law enforcement as part of the delinquency intake process and is recorded in the Department's Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS).
The Department's interactive Delinquency in Florida's Schools Dashboard allows you to examine delinquency in Florida's schools between FY2010-11 and FY2014-15.
