Prevention Assessment Tool Profile

Learn more about the PAT Profile, a visual analytics dashboard that presents data obtained from the Prevention Assessment Tool (PAT).

Overview

The Prevention Assessment Tool (PAT) was developed to assist prevention and civil citation programs in identifying areas of highest criminogenic need, developing a meaningful intervention plan, and monitoring progress in reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors. Data obtained from the PAT enables staff to make informed decisions for each youth with regards to interventions designed to promote positive changes in attitudes and behaviors.

These visual analytics dashboards present data obtained from initial assessments of youth served in prevention programs who were assessed during specific fiscal years using the Prevention Assessment Tool (PAT). The PAT Profile provides statistics on risk and protective factors statewide, and by specific program. The dashboard also allows the user to compare statistics for specific programs to other programs providing the same type of services or to other programs operated by the same provider.
