The Pompano Substance Abuse Treatment Center is a moderate-risk, staff-secure substance abuse treatment program for boys, ages 13-18, operated by the not-for-profit Henry and Rilla White Youth Foundation Incorporated. This program uses evidenced-based curriculum and treatment, including Thinking for Change, Motivational Interviewing and Substance Abuse Treatment. The program utilizes a behavior management system and provides substance abuse treatment, individual and group mental health counseling, and family therapy. Basic medical services are provided onsite. Youth are expected to know, live by and exhibit daily, the Six Pillars of Conduct: Respect, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Caring, Fairness, and Citizenship. Youth also will have the opportunity to engage with the community consistent with Restorative Justice Principles. The average length of stay for each youth is 6-9 months. All clothing and hygiene products are provided. Please call the program prior to bringing and/or sending any clothing or hygiene products.

Pompano Substance Abuse Treatment Center (school number 6016) is a Type 2 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.

Education and vocational services are provided through the Broward County School District. Vocational opportunities include: Culinary Arts.

This program serves as a GED test site.

Florida Turnpike to Sample Road go east to Powerline Road and make a right.
Continue on Powerline Road and at the first traffic light (NW 30th Place),
make a U-Turn and then immediately make a right turn onto 31st Street.
Follow 31st Street through winding road, passing the Animal Shelter and
follow the road to the end where the program is located.
