The Palm Beach Youth Academy (YA) is a high-risk residential treatment facility for males in need of Mental Health Overlay Services (MHOS).

The Palm Beach YA Substance Abuse program is a co-located program that provides Substance Abuse Overlay Services (SAOS).

Both programs are for males, ages 15 to 21, with anticipated, average lengths of stay depending on the youth's pace of success in completing the individualized treatment plan and goals.  Both programs offer assessment services, behavioral health services, case management, medical and psychiatric services, and educational and vocational services.

Palm Beach Youth Academy and Palm Beach Youth Academy Substance Abuse are Type 2 programs that offer English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.  Vocational training is provided by the Home Builders Institute (HBI), offering pre-apprenticeship opportunities in the construction trades.  Additionally, Sequel TSI of Florida, LLC, provides vocational training and opportunities.

Education services are provided through the Palm Beach County School District.
