The Okaloosa Borderline Development Disability Program is a low- and moderate-risk facility that provides treatment services for adjudicated boys who meet the criteria for Borderline Developmental Disability Services and for those who meet the criteria for Developmental Disability Services.  The age range for admission is 13 to 18 years of age; however, the admission shall be determined on a case-by-case basis. Clothing and hygiene items are provide by the program. The average length of stay is 3 to 6 months for low risk youth and is 6 to 9 months for moderate risk youth.

Okaloosa Borderline Development Disability Program (school number 469815) is a Type 3 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.

Education and vocational services are provided through the Okaloosa County School District. Vocational opportunities include: Masonry, Electronics Technician, Carpentry and Horticulture.
