Ft. Walton A.S.A.P. is a licensed residential substance abuse treatment program. This is a moderate risk juvenile justice facility for males, ages 14-18. A.S.A.P. provides intensive substance abuse treatment in conjunction with behavioral modification strategies to enable youth to maintain a drug-free lifestyle and to become productive members of their community. The program utilizes a therapeutic community model with a cognitive-behavioral foundation theory designed to meet individualized treatment needs.  Youth have access to an indoor gymnasium, an outdoor basketball court and track, and a low R.O.P.E.S. course. The program provides uniforms. A.S.A.P. cannot accept sex offenders, as youth are housed 2 per room. The average length of stay is 6 to 12 months.

Ft. Walton A.S.A.P. (school number 469814) is a Type 3 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.

Education and vocational services are provided through the Okaloosa County School District. Vocational opportunities include: Masonry, Digital Design, Carpentry and Cabinet Making.

From Tallahassee take I-10 West to Hwy 85 (exit 56). Turn south onto Hwy 85 towards Ft. Walton Beach. Approximately 25 miles veer right (just before the light) onto SR 123. Stay on SR 123 for 5 miles. It will dead-end at a traffic light. Turn right and proceed past Okaloosa Regional Airport runway. At the next traffic light turn right onto Lewis Turner Blvd and proceed to Ft. Walton Beach. Turn left at the second light (Hospital Rd.) just passed the fair grounds. The road will end at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center after approximately 1 block. Turn right. The program will be 1 block on your right.
