The Daytona Residential Treatment Facility is a 30-bed treatment program that provides sexual offender treatment and serves high-risk male youth between the ages of 13-18. Program youth receive individual and family therapy, as well as daily group services. The primary curriculum at the facility follows a specialized model called STEPS of Progress, which incorporates the main treatment tasks identified by treatment providers as important when working with adolescent sexual offenders. The program goals are to increase the youth’s problem solving skills, teach anger management and coping skills, increase the youth’s insight and healthy regulation of sexual thinking and behavior, assist youth with identification of strengths and weaknesses, increase the youth’s understanding of resources to access, stabilize mood and impulse control, educate youth regarding medication management, and improve the overall level of functioning to return to the community. The anticipated average length of stay is between 12-18 months. Clothing and uniforms are provided by the program.

Daytona Juvenile Residential Facility (school number 649817) is a Type 3 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reading.   Career and technical opportunities include Microsoft Professional Career Certification.

Education services are provided through the Volusia County School District. 

This program serves as a GED test site.
