The DOVE Vocational Academy is a 24-bed, moderate-risk residential program for girls, ages 15 to 18, who are in need of vocational skills. This is a therapeutic community combined with a cognitive behavioral model.  The program provides Behavioral Health Overlay Services (BHOS) and substance abuse treatment services.  However, youth who are physically aggressive, have serious mental health issues or educational limitations are not considered appropriate for placement. The anticipated average length of stay is 8 to 11 months.

DOVE Vocational Academy (school number 329020) is a Type 3 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.

Education and vocational services are provided through the Jackson County School District. Vocational opportunities include: Culinary Operations, Landscaping, and Information Technology.
