Tallahassee, Fla. -- Need help? The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) just made it easier to find support for a variety of needs by posting useful information on its website about resources available to youth and the public.

The DJJ Community Resource Guide, now available online, offers information about a wide range of range of community-based services, programs and treatments available to youth, their families and the public. Education, crisis intervention, mentoring, substance abuse and mental health counseling are a few of the subjects and services covered by the guide.

All Florida counties and judicial circuits are represented in the easy-to-use guide.

"We are committed to making sure that the youth in our care and others in the community get the information they need to lead better lives and make better choices," said DJJ Secretary Wansley Walters. "Whether it's a private contractor or a public agency, their contact information can be found in our Community Resource Guide. If it helps just one person turn his or her life around, it will have served its purpose."
