St. Johns Youth Academy is located in St. Augustine Florida.  The program is a moderate-risk facility operated by Youth Services International.  It is designed for male offenders between the ages of 14 to 18 years old.  The facility has a capacity for 34 youth.  The program provides Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) services and utilizes an evidenced based, Cognitive Behavioral approach in the delivery of substance abuse treatment services.  Mental health, substance abuse, case management and psychiatric services are available on site.  The average length of stay is 6 to 9 months.   All clothing and hygiene products are provided to the youth and youth are not to bring any personal items.

St. Johns Youth Academy (school number 550422) is a Type 2 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.
