Mandala provides Intensive Mental Health Services in a structured therapeutic community fostering positive peer interactions, personal growth, social development, and responsibility. Therapeutic interventions are designed to motivate, educate and reshape socially maladaptive behaviors. The Program offers a continuum of specialized multi-disciplinary services reflecting the individual needs of male offenders with mental health and substance abuse disorders. Services include individual, family and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, psychiatric medical services and behavior management. Cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic methodologies are blended into all treatment approaches.  The average length of stay is 6 to 9 months.
