Les Peters Halfway House provides individual and group treatment services for the boys in the program with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse. The program has an agreement with Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous to provide weekly group meetings. The program incorporates evidence-based treatment such as Thinking for a Change (T4C), Corrective Thinking (Truthought), the Impact of Crime (IOC) curriculum, and Restorative Justice. Boys in the program receive medical and mental health services, social skills, life skills and vocational training. The program teaches the Fatherhood Curriculum for juvenile fathers to learn how to care for their children.

The program provides interaction with the community. The boys attend professional sporting events, tour the Military Museum and learn about history, and volunteer at assisted living facilities. The program has an agreement with the Computer Mentor group, which provides technical instruction to build computers. Each boy receives a computer when he leaves the program. Uniforms are provided. The average length of stay is 8 months.
