The facility is a non-secure moderate risk gender-responsive program with an average length of stay of between six to twelve months. The approach will be cognitive-behavioral with a therapeutic community setting and will be based on the most current “Best Practices” research. The scope of services proposes a continuum of interventions that incorporates restorative justice practices and the appropriate dual diagnosis and mental health treatment skills training services. Structured learning experiences and treatment interventions will be offered to teach adaptive cognitive-behavioral, academic, pre-vocational, vocational and social and life skills.
