The Broward Girls Academy is a thirty (30) bed residential program for low and moderate risk girls, age 14-19 years, who are committed to the Department after being assessed and classified as moderate risk with serious to severe mental disturbance. Program services include mental health group, individual and family counseling. Psychiatric and psychological services are available.
Broward Girls Academy (school number 66015) is a Type 1 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.
Education and vocational services are provided through the Broward County School District.
From South I-95, exit on Hollywood Blvd, which turns into Pines Blvd, going west until you get to the light at University Drive and Pines Blvd. Turn left onto University Drive, heading south. At the first light, Perry Airport, turn right. Go past the security booth, turn left then right. Go to the first stop sign and turn left onto Hibiscus Drive. Follow that road until you see Broward Girls Academy on your left.
Coming from North I-95 you will exit onto Hollywood Blvd. and follow the same directions.
