Alachua Academy is a moderate risk, staff secure program for adolescent girls ages 12 to 18. The length of stay in the program is 6 to 9 months. Substance Abuse intervention will be the treatment focus utilizing evidenced-based practices.  Behavioral Health Overlay Services (BHOS) are available.  Alachua Academy (school number 10602) is a Type 2 program offering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and one elective course. The elective course is typically used to provide additional reading assistance to needy students or vocational training.

Education and vocational services are provided through a cooperative agreement with the Alachua County School District and include GED preparation.  I-10 West to I-75 South, Exit 390.
