PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This is a wilderness program
for emotionally-disturbed, adjudicated females, ages 10 to 18.
The girls must be able to participate in an active
wilderness program. The program stresses education,
recreation, home and community relationships, including
community service experience, and group living. Of the 48
beds, 24 beds are identified for youth in need of intensive
substance abuse services. Behavioral Health Overlay
Services (BHOS) also are provided. The average length of stay
for a low-risk commitment is 3 to 6 months, while the average
length of stay for a moderate-risk commitment is 6 to 9 months.

Directions to Program
(From North Florida) Take I-75 south towards Dunnellon. Get
off at exit 68 (SR200) and turn right on SR 200, go
southwest for 22 miles. Turn left on US 41/SR 45 and go
south for 14 miles. Turn right on East Stage Coach Trail, and
go about 1 mile. Entrance is on the right hand side.
