Duval Halfway House is a structured, non-secure, moderate-risk, state-operated residential treatment program for males ages 14-18. Youth receive both individual and group mental health and substance abuse counseling services. Average length of stay is 4 to 6 months. Educational services are provided by Duval County Schools. Youth are able to obtain employment and participate in a wide variety of community activities that focus on restorative justice principles and community service work as they earn program rewards. Youth will participate in psycho-educational groups that are gender specific with the emphasis on character building. Treatment will focus on career and vocational exploration for job readiness, as well as issues that are specific to young men such as fatherhood class and Men-to-Men only groups. Restorative Justice and Impact of Crime are other classes that the youth will participate in, to better understand the impact of their crimes on the victim community and their families.

Impact House Juvenile Residential Facility is a Behavioral Health Overlay Services (BHOS), staff secure, moderate risk, and substance abuse program for males. The program is located in the 4th Judicial Circuit. The program accepts males between the ages of 14 to 18 who have a primary DSM IV diagnosis of substance abuse and who may have a co-occurring mental health disorder. Upon admission youth will receive a substance abuse screening and a comprehensive substance abuse evaluation. The program provides individual, group and family counseling, social and life skills and on-site educational services.

This program is a 9-12 month Juvenile Male Serious Habitual Offender Program (SHOP) and is sponsored by the State of Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice. The facility is hardware secure with a 12-foot fence surrounding the perimeter.
