Tallahassee -- The Florida Juvenile Justice Foundation and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) today announced that DJJ Youth Success Day, will be Wednesday, April 14 as part of Children’s Week. Children's Week, which will be held April 11-16 this year, is an annual event held at the Capitol that brings together concerned citizens, stakeholders, service agencies and providers from across Florida to share valuable information concerning children’s issues. Events on April 14 will focus on accomplishments within Florida's juvenile justice system along with highlighting youth success stories. Across Florida during the week of April 11-16, DJJ facilities and contracted providers will hold local events celebrating the success of children within their communities. # # # -- Return to Communications -- |
